A man who bought a home in the city of Cork from his family for €2.3 million five years ago has been forced to sell it for a mere €500,000.
The man, whose name was not given by the Irish Times, sold his Dublin home for €3.5 million in 2009, with the proceeds going to charity, according to the Dubliner.
He said the home was his family’s first home.
The property is in the Rathdown neighborhood of the city and has two bedrooms, a three-bathroom garage and a garden.
The family was forced to move to another home when they moved back to the city last year.
The sale price of the property is €5 million, with a mortgage of €1.5 billion.
