But some people are struggling to find work, according to a new report.
“Google Docs may be a great platform, but people who use it to find jobs don’t have a clear understanding of what’s needed to be hired, and that may limit how quickly employers find the right candidates,” the authors write.
They suggest Google should create more tools that help job seekers get the right resume, and to let people search for resumes.
“There are more opportunities for Google to help more people with their resume search,” the report said.
The authors note that Google is also not alone in trying to help job hunters.
“While many job seekers have to rely on Google Doc for their resume searches, the search engine has recently become a much more valuable tool to job seekers,” the researchers write.
There are several other factors that may affect job seekers’ ability to find and hire the right people, the authors suggest.
For instance, some people don’t get the same results that others do, or that people see differently from others.
Google says it is working to improve its search engine and hiring tools, and it says the company is committed to making the best tools available.
