LinkedIn is offering job listings for employees who want to make it on their own in the tech industry.
The company has updated its Human Resources website to include new job postings for workers looking for flexible work.
For example, the listings have a section for engineers looking to work on projects that require them to use a laptop, and one for people looking for positions that require flexibility and autonomy.
If you want to work from home or on the road, LinkedIn offers the following options:Employees can also search by location to find the right location for their job, which means they can work from anywhere.
For the job search, LinkedIn also added a section that allows employers to apply for an hourly rate that’s flexible.
If an employer doesn’t want to pay the hourly rate, the company will pay them for their work in the next week.
You can find a list of available jobs on LinkedIn’s site, but if you don’t want the flexibility, you can sign up for an e-employment account to apply.
For an example of how that works, read this interview with a software engineer who used a flexible hourly rate.
